International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

The United Nations General Assembly has designated November 25 as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. This day aims to raise awareness about the prevalence of violence against women worldwide and to call for action to end this human rights violation. It serves as a reminder of the importance of promoting gender equality and creating a world where all women can live free from violence and discrimination.

25 November to 10 December is 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children. During this time, it is crucial for communities to come together and advocate for the rights of women and children, raising awareness and taking action against gender-based violence. By standing united in this cause, we can make a meaningful impact in creating a safer and more equitable world for all.

We need to set an example and raise a new generation of individuals who respect and value women and who are committed to creating a society where violence against women is no longer tolerated. By educating and empowering both men and women, we can work towards a future where violence against women and children is eradicated.
