This day also aims to advocate for policies that improve the quality of life for individuals with arthritis and reduce the burden of this chronic condition on individuals and society as a whole. World Arthritis Day serves as a reminder to prioritise joint health and take steps towards prevention and management of arthritis.
On October 10th every year, the day is dedicated to mental health, to raise awareness about mental health issues and advocate for support and treatment for those struggling with mental health disorders. It is an important day to break the stigma surrounding mental health and promote understanding and empathy towards those who may be suffering silently.
